Meritque (operated by Apex Relational Intelligence) helps job seekers find opportunities, prepare applications, reach hiring contacts, and track their search. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and authentication details.
Career content you provide: resumes, LinkedIn exports, work history, achievements, education, and application answers.
Job-search activity: searches, saved opportunities, applications, outreach drafts, and reminders.
Billing information processed by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers.
Basic technical data such as device, browser, and pages viewed, used to keep the service working.

How we use your information

To operate your account, subscription, and the features you use.
To match you with relevant opportunities and tailor resumes, cover letters, and outreach drafts.
To send service and follow-up notifications you have enabled.
To detect abuse, enforce usage limits, and protect the service.
To improve reliability and product quality.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell your resume or career data.

AI processing

Some features send the relevant parts of your career content and a job description to third-party AI model providers so drafts can be generated. We send only what is needed for the requested task. We do not authorize these providers to use your content to train their public models.

Service providers we rely on

We use vetted providers for hosting and databases, payment processing, transactional email, AI model inference, and job-listing data. They may process your information only to deliver those services to us.

Cookies and analytics

We use necessary cookies for sign-in and session security, and limited marketing measurement on public marketing pages. Measurement scripts are not loaded on pages that contain your resume, applications, or other private content, and are disabled when you opt out of marketing tracking.

Data retention

We keep your account and career content while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your career content, keeping only records we must retain for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

Your choices and rights

Access, correct, export, or delete your career profile and documents from inside the app.
Turn reminder and digest emails on or off in Settings.
Cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing.
Request account deletion or a copy of your data by emailing meritcue@gmail.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor valid requests and never charge you for exercising them.

Security

Accounts are protected by authenticated access, encrypted connections, encryption at rest, and row-level database rules so your data is only readable by you. See our security practices for details.

Children

Meritque is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in the app.
